My Tom
Am I too predictable? Recently this idea has been popping up in my thoughts. "Swingers" is my favourite movie (already that movie could have been picked as my favourite as I am a mid-twenties male that trys to look cool). In this movie the most talented actor in Hollywood, check that....the world...Mr. Vincent Vaughn plays Trent (aka Double Down, T-bone, and T). He is a fun lovin, out-going party guy that can talk...man can he talk. The man literally spews out man poetry in every sentence. Guys just understand this character because: A) They want to be him B) They know a guy exactly like him C) They think they can be him. Trent is one of the main characters of this glorious peice of art and without him the movie would not have gone anywhere (not that it was that big...most of you who are reading probably don't even know what I am talking about...if you are even still reading). This brings me exactly to my point...Trent is my favourite character in the movie. Whats wrong with this you say? Well I am going to get a little deep on ya here. I don't want to be that guy the just likes all the same things as everyone else. There are plenty of other solid characters in that movie...why do I have to pick him?Thats where my boy Tom comes into the picture. Tom is my buddy. Tom's favourite character in Swingers is Sue. Sue is not in the movie that much. When he is he does not dominate the screen like Trent...but he leaves an impression on you. He leaves the impression of "cool". I love that this is Tom's favourite. Its just so Tom to like this character. Even though Sue pulls a gun...but man is he tough. He keeps their rep. And wow can he ever pull off the name Sue.
So anyway thanks Tom for liking this character...it means a lot to me.
My paper has really taken a back seat...no progress.
I wore baggy black track pants and a brown tee shirt today...boo ya
