golf balls from heaven
I had heard that there was such a thing as golf ball sized hail, but my eyes had never before beheld such a sight...that is until recently when I was struck square in the eye by one of these icey wonders. The other night while hanging out with some people in the camp store (big nite), we heard a loud pounding that turned out to be this hail. It was amazing! My one friend freaked out as he lived in a tent. We all ran out in the middle of this storm as everyone who lived in tents needed assistance (although I really dont know what the point was as I ended up just standing there getting pelted by the hail). Anyway, this stuff was so big and strong that it collapsed 3 tents completely...breaking poles and what not. It was something I will not forget. I only wish I had pictures as this lame discription does it NO justice.
