new job
well its not so new anymore...I am now working at Eagles Flight . It is a corporate training company, although my job has nothing to do with that. I am the CEO's driver. I drive him around wherever he needs to go. I am also doing some A/V work for him. So thanks for the overwhelming response to my plea for a job a few months ago. I am now settled and am doing just fine.I am on a huge alt. rock kick right now....like 90's stuff mainly. A lot of Nirvana. I am really enjoying their unrealsed stuff from the Sliver album. Very good. "About a Girl" is one of my all time favourite songs.
So Tiff and I are helping out with the City Centre Youth. I am so pumped for it. I have a lot of ideas that I want to try out in terms of social justice. That has been on my mind a lot lately. Generousity is a huge thing right now that I want to focus on and hopefully help instill in the youth. Any ideas please leave me a comment. Anything really. Like if there is an interesting cause you have heard about that could use help let me know.
I am reading a few books right now. I am reading Phil Geldart's (my boss) book. I am also trying to finish "life of pi". I am struggling though and dont think i will finish it.
ok time for bed. i am driving to Owen Sound tomorrow at 5:30.

I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC

so tiffany just taught me a new feature on my mac that I need to share with the world. I am able to take a screen shot by pressing control + apple + shift + 4 and then cropping over what I want to take a picture of. The only way I really see this being useful is if I get a royal flush on Pokerroom.com . Anyway, I still think it is a cool feature. The only reason I would get a PC over a mac is because I love the actor that plays the PC on the Mac commericals. He is priceless.
Tripping Out
Tom and I had been planning a trip for when we graduate for years. The time had finally arrived and we booked a place in Vegas for a week. Here are a few highlites.5) The swimming pool. It was huge and had a waterfall with swim up blackjack. Does it get any better than that?
4) Having a big nite at the roulette table and walking out with a nice little profit.
3) Crusing the strip!!!
2) Point Edward Casino....I know i know, but their is a back story to this. Tom and I flew out of Detroit. We got a ride with Nathan Colquhoun and Darryl. So on our way to the gambling capital of the world we stopped in at the Point Edward casino in Sarnia and had an amazing time. (Tom played craps). Thanks for the ride and the good times guys.
1) Watching Tom go on the gambling ride of a lifetime for the whole last nite when I got knocked out in the first 10 minutes. Tom was able to play hard for about 7 hours and even got into a fight with the pit boss in which they had to go to the over head video.
Vegas was a blast and I will be sure to post some pictures in the future.
